New storage facility near BX

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif., --  The new Lock and Leave storage facility, located outside of the Base Exchange, is now open for business. Anyone with base access and a lock can rent a storage unit. The main office is located in the Enterprise Rental Car office and is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The storage units come in four different sizes starting at 2.8 x 4 feet and all units are eight feet tall. They are accessible to renters 24 hours a day and the staff cleans the outside of the units and inspects them twice a day.

Some units include hooks on the inside for storage of items like bicycles.
