Local Notice: 412th CS to assist in improving Sprint, Verizon wireless equipment

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 412th Communications Squadron will assist Sprint and Verizon Companies to upgrade their wireless equipment using the existing 140-foot self-support communications tower at Bldg. 8742.

Purpose of the upgrade is to improve the wireless capability to 4G LTE (Long term enhancement) on Edwards AFB and Air Force Research Lab Detachment 7.

The site location is Bldg. 8742, Edwards AFB, CA 93524, N34-56-18.9 / W117-41.28.9. The Federal Communications Commission Antenna Structure Registration (ASR, Form 854) filing number is A0894432.
