Retiree Appreciation Day right around the corner Published April 22, 2014 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Edwards AFB will hold its 2014 Military Retiree Appreciation Day May 3. The event will be held at the Oasis Community Center in Bldg. 2500 at 205 West Popson Ave., Edwards AFB, Calif., 93524. Retiree Appreciation Day will be from 8 a.m. to noon. All military retirees and their spouses, along with surviving spouses, are invited to attend. After the opening ceremony, attendees will have the opportunity to visit a variety of informational booths and attend breakout sessions to obtain information and some services of value to retirees. Additionally, after the RAD event, retirees are invited to head over to Building 3000 for ID card services from noon until 3 p.m. Refreshments, donuts, gift bags and door prizes will also be provided to make Retiree Appreciation Day 2014 both fun and informational.
