New commander for 370th FLTS Published May 19, 2014 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 370th Flight Test Squadron welcomed a new commander May 15 with a change of command ceremony in Hangar 1207. Lt. Col. Patrick Dulaney relinquished command to Lt. Col. Joshua S. Davies. Col. Jerry C. Byars Jr., 413th Flight Test Group, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., officiated the ceremony and passed the squadron guidon to Davies. Davies was commissioned in 1990 as a Distinguished Graduate from UCLA's ROTC Detachment 55. In 2002, Davies was assigned to the 418th Flight Test Squadron and then to the 445th FLTS where he flew numerous test support missions. He transferred to the AF Reserves in 2005 first serving as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee working for the 412th Operations Group. After deploying to Korea in 2007, he returned to Edwards AFB where he has served until today support flight test operations in both the KC-135 and C-12. He has more than 3,200 hours in five different aircraft. The 370th FLTS is an Air Force Reserve squadron that conducts operational flight tests utilizing C-12, KC-135 refueler, F-16 and T-38 aircraft assigned or on loan to the 412th Test Wing.
