McCoy 412th Force Support Squadron, school liaison officer EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- On May 22, Desert High School held their 29th annual academic awards celebration, during which students received more than $2,398,575 million in awarded scholarships, grants and awards. Desert Junior Senior High School's Class of 2014 consisted of 97 seniors, 13 of which were honored as Valedictorians with a 4.0 GPA. Muroc Joint Unified School District is committed to ensuring students are knowledgeable, contributing citizens capable of reaching their full potential in and out of the classroom environment. The achievements and academic successes of these students would not be possible without the extraordinary efforts of their exemplary staff and committed parents/guardians that devote unyielding attention to this task. Team Edwards wants to commend the MJUSD staff, students and parents for another outstanding year filled with great achievements.
