The Edwards AFB Education and Training Center hosted their quarterly open house June 26. The open house gave Airmen and their families as well as civilian personnel access to representatives from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Webster University, Cerro Coso Community College and the Base Library. The Education Center also provided a free hot dog lunch for attendees to eat while exploring their educational options.

If a student is interested in another program, not represented at the open house, the Education Center offers academic counseling to help them pursue their educational goals.

"The open house gives people an opportunity to come here and see what we do and learn about our program," said Beth Hodge, 412th Force Support Squadron, Education Services specialist.

The Education Center will host its annual Education Fair at Club Muroc on Aug. 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The fair will provide an opportunity to speak with college representatives from over 60 local and national colleges and universities.
