A group of honorary commanders toured the 412th Maintenance Group August 15 along with their pertinent squadron commander and base leaders.

During the tour, two groups of honorary commanders were divided in order to visit two different maintenance sections. Both groups were able to visit Hangar 1600 in order to witness the "Backshop Experience," which included a tour of the Composites shop, the Sheet Metal shop, the Machine shop, and the T-38 Phase shop. After Hangar 1600, the group encountered the "Flight line Experience," which included an introduction to flightline aircraft maintenance, pre-flight training and avionics-flight control checks on headset, an introduction of weapons standardization, a weapons loading demonstration on an F-16, a bomb wiring demonstration and a tour of a weapons ordnance display.
