Big Shaker about to hit Edwards Published Sept. 17, 2014 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Edwards Emergency Management will present the "Big Shaker," an earthquake simulator, in the Base Exchange parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit is part of National Preparedness Month efforts for September. Emergency Management is focused on earthquake preparedness before, during and after an earthquake. The Office of Emergency Management is available year-round to offer preparedness guidance.
