Pre-inspection survey Published Feb. 3, 2015 By Brig. Gen. Michael T. Brewer 412th Test Wing commander EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- As you all know by now, Air Force Materiel Command Inspector General will be conducting a Unit Effectiveness Inspection on our wing this March. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase all the amazing things you do on a daily basis! It is also a way to find out where we can improve as a wing so we can continue to get better. As part of this process, AFMC/IG has offered up a survey so that they can get direct feedback from our workforce and families. While voluntary, I highly encourage you to complete it. If you would like to participate, please go to the following link: https://www.research.net/s/412TW. The purpose of the survey is to obtain a pre-inspection understanding of the health and wellness of a selected organization. This is an opportunity to provide Headquarters, AFMC/IG, and Secretary of the Air Force IG, honest and candid feedback about any issue, to inform us about what is working well, and to highlight what is not working within an organization. According to AFMC/IG, here are some facts about the survey: - Participation is voluntary. No adverse action of any kind may be taken against any individual who elects not to participate in any portion of this survey. Your responses to this instrument ARE CONFIDENTIAL and will not be traced to an individual - The survey is open and ready for your inputs; it only takes 20 minutes to complete - Please be honest in all your answers - it will make the results more meaningful for your wing/group/squadron/directorate, etc. - HQ AFMC/IG will protect all information you provide; only HQ AFMC/IG and SAF/IG have access to this information - We value the opinions of your spouses, and we have developed a series of questions for them. Please feel free to forward this survey home for their use. - This survey was not developed in consultation with any union, nor is this survey endorsed by any union. This survey was developed for the exclusive use of the inspector general and participation is voluntary - This survey will close at the end of the duty day on Feb. 19 Thank you for all the hard work you do every day!
