Limited services coming to Edwards AFB's Veterinary Clinic Published Feb. 3, 2015 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- With the pending departure of the current U.S. Army veterinarian in May, the base Veterinary Treatment Facility will have significantly decreased clinical hours from May until the arrival of the new Army veterinarian in August 2015. The VTF will be unable to see sick-call appointments, emergency appointments or surgeries during that time frame. Please remember that the clinic will continue to have normal business hours until late April. During the shortage, health certificates for OCONUS travel will be given priority for the clinic hours, which will occur once every two weeks. The remainder of the appointments will be for wellness/vaccination appointments, exclusively. For all other services, please seek care off-base with a veterinarian. For questions, please call the VTF at 661-275-2177.
