Work to begin on Lancaster Blvd.

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Work to widen Lancaster Blvd. south of the South Gate Entry Control Point will begin March 4 and will continue until late May. Speed limits will be reduced and periodic flagman controls will be enforced to approximately 1/2 mile south of the gate.   

The 412th Civil Engineer Group is committed to keeping Lancaster Blvd. and the South Gate open during this period of construction, however, to do this, base personnel assistance and patience is required. For commuter safety and the safety of those working please obey all posted signature and slow down for the cone zone.
