F-16, tankers, reach IOC

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The 412th Test Wing's F-16 and Tanker Consolidation Team, at the culmination of a 13-month effort to merge the 416th and 445th Flight Test Squadrons along with the 418th and 412th Flight Test Squadron (Speckled Trout), posed for a group photo to celebrate the major milestone of reaching Initial Operational Capability. 

The team also reorganized and consolidated the 416th and 445th Aircraft Maintenance Units along with the 412th FLTS maintenance functions and the 912th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Unit at Edwards. This fulfills a Fiscal Year 2015-2018 Program Objective Memorandum to reduce and effectively address manpower shortfalls.
