Reward offered for info on Desert High thefts, vandalism Published May 4, 2015 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Over the weekend of April 18, 19, windows for Desert High School's booster snack shacks located on the football field were broken and items were stolen. During the weekend of April 25 and 26, a break-in occurred at the band room snack bar and most of the snack items were stolen. Recently, on the weekend of May 2 and 3, two trash cans were set on fire and melted to the pavement at DHS. If you have any information regarding the anyone involved in these crimes, you are encouraged to call WeTip immediately at 1-800-782-7463 (1-800-78-CRIME). You may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. WeTip is completely anonymous and no names will be revealed. Last year, vandalism to Edwards AFB schools cost the school district $12,000.
