EOD wins intramural championship with explosive finish Published May 27, 2015 By 412th Force Support Squadron EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- After losing a match to the 412th Civil Engineer Group Explosive Ordnance Disposal team in the winner's bracket during the 2015 Intramural Volleyball playoffs, the 412th Operations Support Squadron team climbed out of the losers bracket to once again face EOD in the championship game May 20 at the Rosburg Fitness Center. The 412th OSS won the first match by winning two out of the three games. After a short break, the two teams played again, as it was a double elimination tournament and EOD would have to lose twice in order to be eliminated. Though the 412th OSS team fought hard, EOD was able to easily win the first game and then hung on to win the second game to take the 2015 Intramural Volleyball championship. EOD's high scorer in the winning match was Tech. Sgt. Jedd Lucas and EOD was coached by Tech. Sgt. James Bennett and Andrew McGehean.
