DHS softball ends season in playoffs

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Desert High School Scorpions softball team battled, but ultimately ended up one run short losing 11-10 in extra innings to Katella High School from Anaheim. The game was part of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Division 6 playoffs. The Scorpions finished 15-9 on the season.
