The 412th Operations Group is creating the "OG Immersion" program to directly involve organizations on base with the main flight mission. The program is designed to promote esprit de corps amongst base personnel from both sides of the flightline. It is a rotating, once-per-quarter event where participants tour the flightline, a flight test squadron, the SPORT facility and the control tower. The tour usually goes from 8 a.m. until noon. Attendees will later have the opportunity to fly on a C-12, C-17 or tanker. The 412th OG Immersion program is directed at creating a more cohesive bond between agencies and the overall flight mission. The ops group will send out an email to unit workflows each quarter and can accommodate up to six attendees. Airmen who would like to participate can notify their chain of command.
