Davis takes charge of 412th Electronic Warfare Group

Col. Leland A. Davis assumed command of the 412th Electronic Warfare Group Aug. 3 during a change of command ceremony at Club Muroc. Davis comes from his previous assignment at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He served as the commander of the Eglin Research Site and as deputy director of the Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate. Davis assumed command of the 412th EWG from Col. Kevin M. Muckerheide - the outgoing commander who served in the position for the past three years.

The 412th Electronic Warfare Group carries out the test and evaluation of aircraft survivability systems and is responsible for the Benefield Anechoic Facility and the Integration Facility for Avionics Systems Testing at Edwards Air Force Base.
