Majority leader McCarthy visits Edwards AFB

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Congressman Kevin McCarthy visited Edwards AFB Aug. 5 and received mission updates on 412th Test Wing programs such as F-35 and KC-46. He also visited Ridley Mission Control. McCarthy serves California's 23rd district and is currently the majority leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was first elected to Congress in 2006 and is a native of Bakersfield, California, and a fourth-generation Kern County resident.
