Defender Olympics Published May 19, 2016 By Kenji Thuloweit 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Airmen from the 412th Security Forces Squadron broke into teams and donned different uniforms for the Defender Olympics May 19. The games began at the base gym and featured several events including a relay race, a shuttle run with ammunition cans, and a medicine ball toss. This week is National Police Week where tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Police Week at Edwards ends May 20 with a retreat ceremony at 4 p.m. on the Airman Leadership School drill pad.
