Matthew Norwood 412th Test Wing Office of the Staff Judge Advocate EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Divorce is often complicated and emotionally stressful. California's Self-Help website offers resources to simplify the process. Many couples may qualify for summary dissolution, a streamlined process for divorce or ending a domestic partnership. Summary dissolution eligibility requirements: Married less than five years No children together Minimal property and debt No spousal support request Agreement on property division At least one spouse meets California's residency requirement (six months in the state, three months in the filing county).
