The Edwards Chapel is hosting a free concert at the Chapel Two annex here April 19 at 6 p.m.

The free event, which begins with a potluck dinner at 4:30 p.m., is intended to promote basewide spiritual wellness and morale.

Julie Nevel, an independent Christian singer based in Harrisburg, Pa., will be the performer for the evening, Ms. Nevel preformed at the 1996 Olympics.

"Spiritual wellness is the dimension of wellness that is sometimes forgotten," said Chaplain (Maj.) Philip Llanos, 95th Air Base Wing chaplain. "This event gives everyone a good opportunity to have a good time and fulfill their spiritual needs."

Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Donald Hoffman, 95th ABW chaplain, said that Ms. Nevel was chosen because her music is suited for avid members of the church as well as the common holistic seeker.

"The free concert is ecumenical," said Chaplain Hoffman. "All base personnel are welcome regardless of how and where they worship."
