At the conclusion of a court-martial held here Dec. 16, a panel sentenced a 95th Security Forces Squadron Airman found guilty of drug use and distribution.

The Airman abused his prescription Vicodin while consuming alcohol. The Airman also distributed the drug to several other Airmen. Vicodin is a prescription narcotic that is often prescribed for pain following surgery. The Airman pled guilty to wrongfully using and distributing Vicodin on multiple occasions.

The panel sentenced the Airman to a reduction to the rank of airman basic and three months hard labor without confinement, in addition to regular duties. The Airman's immediate commander decides what the hard labor will be and how much will be done.
