The Blue Eagles Honor Guard opens the debut ceremony of the Global Hawk at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center Jan. 15. The aircraft is the first of two early developmental models of the autonomously operated Global Hawk aircraft that were turned over to NASA Dryden by the Air Force in late 2007. They are being brought back to airworthy status by Dryden and Northrop Grumman for use on environmental science and unmanned aircraft system technology development missions. (courtesy photo)
