CHPS nurse to provide heart health information

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- With the ongoing Team Lean Challenge, the Civilian Health Promotion Services nurse will provide classes about cardiac health to Team Edwards.

In addition, free cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure checks are available at the CHPS office in Building 3760. This is a quick service available to all Department of Defense civilians.

The following health classes are currently being offered this month to civilians, contractors and military personnel:

-- Nutrition and healthy eating on March 19, 11 a.m., at the HAWC

-- Diabetes on March 25, 9 a.m., in Building 1600, Room 315

-- High blood pressure on March 26, 2 p.m., in Building 1600, Room 315

To reserve or make an appointment for a cholesterol screening, contact your unit CHPS nurse.
