North Gate delays beginning May 4

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- North Gate delays due to highway ramp maintenance will begin May 4. Closures will be intermittent and will not occur every day. During ramp closures, drivers will have to proceed to the Exit 188 off ramp and come back to Exit 186. This will be required for the safety of the workers involved in doing the work on Highway 58. The 95th Civil Engineering and Transportation Directorate is working with the California Transportation Department to have the construction begin after the gates peak hours of 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
