Edwards to host two-day basketball tournament

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The Rosburg Fitness Center along with JNJ Hoops will sponsor a basketball tournament for the Pacific West Military Basketball League Nov. 14 and 15 at the fitness center.

Men and women teams from Edwards, Travis and Los Angeles Air Force Bases as well as 29 Palms Air Ground Combat Center, Calif., will compete on both days in more than 10 games.

"We are part of the Pacific West Military Basketball League," said Master Sgt. Christopher Stokes, 412th Operations Group. "We play one weekend a month. Each base team will host a weekend. Every team will play three games on each weekend."

The following is the Edwards tournament schedule:

Nov. 14
Edwards (Women) vs. Los Angeles (Women) - 9 a.m.
29 Palms (Men) vs.Travis (Men) - 10:45 a.m.
Edwards(Men) vs. Los Angeles (Men) - 12:30 p.m.
Edwards (Men) vs. Travis (Men) - 2:15 p.m.
Los Angeles (Women) vs. 29 Palms (Women) - 4 p.m.
Los Angeles (Men) vs.  29 Palms (Men) 5:45 p.m.

Nov.15
Edwards (Women) vs. Los Angeles (Women) - 9 a.m.
Travis (Men) vs. Los Angeles (Men) - 10:45 a.m.
Edwards (Women) vs. 29 Palms (Women) -12:30 p.m.
Edwards (Men) vs. 29 Palms (Men) - 2:15 p.m.
29 Palms (Women) vs. Los Angeles (Women) - 4 p.m.
