LAAFB to host Pacific West Military Basketball League

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Los Angeles Air Force Base along with JNJ Hoops will sponsor a basketball tournament for the Pacific West Military Basketball League at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Fitness Center Dec. 12 and 13.

Men and women teams from Edwards, Travis, Vandenberg and Los Angeles Air Force Bases as well as 29 Palms Air Ground Combat Center, Calif. and Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, Calif., will compete on both days in more than 10 games.

The following is the weekend schedule:

Dec. 12

Miramar VS 29 Palms 9:20 a.m.
LA VS Travis 11 a.m.
LA VS Miramar 12:40 p.m.
(W) LA VS Vandenberg 2:20 p.m.
Travis VS 29 Palms 4 p.m.
(W)Edwards VS Vandenberg 5:40 p.m.

Dec.13

(W) Vandenberg VS Edwards 9:20 a.m.
Miramar VS Travis 11 a.m.
LA VS 29 Palms 12:40 p.m.
