I became a volunteer victim advocate so that no one has to suffer in silence and feel alone during a life changing trauma.  I want to be a resource to people so they know that someone cares and is available to assist in whatever their needs may be at the time.  Too often, victims feel they have nowhere to turn and end up suffering in silence without a voice to help them.   No one should have to suffer alone and in silence.  Sometimes victims need someone else to assist them on their path to help and healing.
