MJUSD seeks Governing Board representative Published June 30, 2010 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEE - Governing Board member Tim Balas has resigned from his seat on the Board (Office B), effective June 4, 2010, creating a vacancy on the Muroc Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees. At their Regular Board Meeting on June 9, 2010, the Board decided to fill this vacancy by making a provisional appointment. Applications are now being accepted from any qualified person (see the qualification requirements below) interested in filling this vacancy. Applications are available from the Muroc Joint Unified School District office located at 17100 Foothill Avenue, North Edwards, California, or online at www.muroc.k12.ca.us, by clicking on the "School Board" link.
