Porras receives 'Dare to Soar' award

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Mr. Fred Porras, a civilian security officer assigned to 95th Security Forces Squadron, recently received the 'Dare to Soar' award from the Edwards' Chief's Group.

"'Dare to Soar' is an award that is presented to military and civilian members who are recognized for going above and beyond their required duties," said Chief Master Sgt. Michael B. Belanger, 412th Maintenance Group superintendent.

Mr. Porras received the award from the Chief's Group for his continual professionalism, and taking time during the busy morning rush, to give his "post brief" to senior military leaders.
