Brig. Gen. Robert C. Nolan II, Air Force Flight Test Center commander, performs the 1.5-mile run portion of his annual Air Force Physical Fitness Test while Chief Master Sgt. Bill Thomaston, 95th Air Base Wing command chief, runs alongside. General Nolan scored a 95 on his fitness test Nov. 29. The AFFTC commander wants every Airman at Edwards to be “Fit to Fight.” The new Air Force Fitness Program increases the responsibility for Airmen to maintain year-round physical fitness. Healthy, fit lifestyles greatly benefit Airmen and the Air Force both now and in the future. General Nolan encourages all Airmen and Edwards civilians to embrace the fitness culture.
