Edwards, Army National Guard team up for training Published Feb. 2, 2011 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Army National Guard paratroopers drop from an Edwards Air Force Base C-130 as part of a Joint Airborne/Air Transportability Training exercise that took place on base Jan. 22. The C-130, equipped with NP 2000 propellers, belongs to the 418th Flight Test Squadron and is and is undergoing flight testing here. This was the first time the Army jumped from a C-130 equipped with the new eight-bladed propellers and the first time the 418th participated in a JA/ATT.
