Sexual Assault Response Coordinator needs bystander intervention instructors Published March 16, 2011 By Edwards Air Force Base Sexual Assualt Response Coordinator EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Sexual Assault Response Coordinator is looking for additional Bystander Intervention instructors. Instructors are needed to help the program stay on target to complete its training goal by September 2011. Applicants should have great communications skills, have completed Sexual Assault Prevention and Response's annual training prior to January 2010 and have been through the Bystander Intervention course. With supervisor approval, applicants must be available to teach eight to 10 classes each month and give a one-year commitment to teaching this course. Candidates will also be interviewed for the position. Submissions for this position will be accepted until March 25. Candidates must be able to go TDY for training. Interviews will be conducted March 28 through April 1. The training dates are April 18-21. Bystander Intervention is the current training for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program's annual requirement. It is taught in three 90-minute modules for leaders, men and women.
