Training exercises may cause delays Published May 11, 2011 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Edwards AFB will be conducting a series of training exercises from Monday, May 16 through Thursday, May 19. During this time, motorists entering the base may experience short traffic delays. There should be no impact to retail services such as the Base Exchange, Commissary, gas station, or any of the base's various restaurants, the child care center, or schools. However, some customers could experience wait times of up to one hour at other service areas such as the Retiree Services Office, Pass and ID, Legal Office or Finance. Medical appointments will remain as scheduled and medical walk in service will remain unchanged.
