Enlisted Spouses Club conducting annual Backpack Drive

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The Edwards Enlisted Spouses Club is holding their annual Backpack Drive from Aug. 5 through Aug. 17.

Collection boxes will be set up at the Base Exchange, NASA food court, Air Force Research Laboratory and South Base, for people to drop off contributions of basic school supplies.

Crayons, glue, glue sticks, pencils, pens, markers, write-on pens, baby wipes, Kleenex, scissors, highlighters are types of items that can be donated.

The BX has already set up their display of school supplies.

The ESC will gratefully accept new backpacks or monetary donations toward the purchase of backpacks.
