The 412th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron softball team ran a perfect 3-0 record through the playoffs to win the Edwards AFB softball team championship Sept. 15.

The 412th defeated the 95th Security Forces team to win the title.

The 412th had just two losses against 18 wins during the regular season. At one point in the season the team had a 13-game winning streak, then peaked at the right time and rode a wave of momentum to capture the squadron's first title in at least four years.

James Miller, coach of the 412th team, said dedication was a hallmark of the team this year.

"This team was dedicated, with one team member even changing his flight travel plans just to be a part of the final championship game," Miller said.
