Oct.. 2010 Why did you join the Air Force? I joined the Air Force for a college education and to help out my family back home. What do you like most about your job? The opportunity to meet so many different people from different backgrounds, jobs, rank, experience, etc. What is your favorite activity in the area? Going to the movies and shopping with husband and friends. Warrior Highlights: Airman Garrison came to the 412th Test Wing Command Section in February 2011 as her first duty assignment from tech-school. In her short time on the staff, she has fully integrated into the Air Force culture and way of life. She learned and mastered all administrative duties in less than two months, proving more than capable of completing tasks on time, and without assistance. In the last six months, she has processed more than 600 staff packages requiring wing commander review, ensuring 100 percent accountability of all packages. Her attention to detail ensured every package supporting the 412th Test Wing's test missions were accomplished without delay. Airman Garrison was recently selected to be the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice Commander and Technical Director; a highly visible position requiring exceptional organization and daily interaction with leaders from around the base. Her hard work and strong work ethic have garnered positive attention from wing leadership as she consistently performs above and beyond her current rank and experience.
