Nov. 25 designated as Family Day

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The Friday following Thanksgiving, Nov. 25, is designated as a Family Day. Brigadier General Robert Nolan II, Air Force Flight Test Center commander, has authorized this day as a down day for military members. Supervisors of Department of Defense civilians should be liberal in their approval of requests to use appropriate leave, comp time, or credit hours on the Family Day.

Contractor personnel should contact their supervisor/management chain concerning their leave/absence policy. If contract supervisors have questions, they should contact their respective contracting officer or in their absence, the Directorate of Contracting at 277-2006 for assistance.
