Edwards men's basketball team wins tournament Published Nov. 7, 2011 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- From left: Sidney Melvin, Maurice Wright, Shalom Voisin, Terrance Flowers, Christopher Murray, Sedric Whitaker, Jerrod Graves, Antwan Knight and Jonathan Cheadle, members of the Edwards AFB Men's Varsity Basketball team, show off their new first-place hardware after an undefeated run in a tournament at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms, Oct. 29 and 30. The team competed against Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, MCAS Miramar, 29 Palms and Nellis AFB. Melvin and Whitaker made the all-tournament team, and Melvin was honored as the tournament's most valuable player.
