Edwards athlete performs at highest level

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Staff Sgt. Schameka White, 412th Operations Support Squadron Aviation Resource Management, once again earned a spot on the Air Force Women's Softball Team for this year's Armed Forces Softball Championship and helped her team win the 2011 title held at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla. in September.

White was selected for the Armed Forces all-tournament team and was asked to play on the U.S. Armed Forces Team, which won second place in the 2011 Amateur Softball Association Nationals in Oklahoma City, Okla. in October.

White has been part of the Air Force women's softball team every year since 2005.
