MSgt Kelly Carr is Team Edwards Warrior of the Week Published March 6, 2012 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Name: Kelly Carr Rank: Master Sgt. Duty Title: Superintendant, Installation Deployment Readiness Cell Office/ Duty Section: Logistics Readiness Hometown: Swanton, OH When did you join the Air Force? I joined the Air Force in 1994, less than year after graduating high school. Why did you join the Air Force? The main reason was because I didn't want to disappoint my grandfather. I was unable to afford college, and I wanted to see the world, and he said the best thing to do was to enlist in the Air Force. He went with me to the recruiter, and I signed up. What do you like most about your job? The best thing about being a "Loggie" is that the job is always a challenge. Every day brings something new and different. What is your favorite thing to do around the area? Sightsee. My family and I get in the car and go somewhere every weekend. There is always something going on and new places to see.
