Name: Steven Oliver

Rank: Senior Airman

Duty Title: 412th Maintenance Group, Weapons Load Crew team member

Hometown: Medina, NY

When did you join the Air Force?  March 22, 2009

Why did you join? To better my life, to make a difference and to serve my country

What do you like most about your job? Getting to do what only a select few do in the AF here at Edwards. Getting to see and work with different bombs on multiple airframes.

What are your favorite off-duty activities: I am the wrestling coach for the Desert High School. I manage 15 wrestlers and conduct practices along with weekend tournaments. I've currently put in over 175 hours with the team. I also dirtbike and have two dogs (Bear and Moose) that keep me pretty entertained.

Warrior Highlights:  "Senior Airman Oliver is a very capable Airman and highly motivated. He's doing an outstanding job with the wrestling team, they won a few medals at a recent tournament featured in the Antelope Valley Press."
