Master Sgt. Hart is Team Edwards' Warrior of the Week Published March 22, 2012 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Name: Denny Hart Rank: Master Sergeant Duty Title: Branch superintendent Duty Section: 95th Civil Engineering Division, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Hometown: Redding, Calif. When did you join the Air Force? Dec. 29, 1997 Why did you join the Air Force? I was looking for a challenging career that provided all the benefits of the military, while having the opportunity to travel and continue my education. What do you like most about your job? Blowing stuff up! Somehow seeing the fireball and feeling the blast wave of an explosion never gets old. What is your favorite thing to do around the area? I enjoy dining out with my wife, or exploring the area outside of the Antelope Valley on the weekends. Southern California has so many things to see and do within just a couple of hours of home. While I'm here I'm trying to take advantage of all the attractions that are in close proximity to Edwards. Warrior Highlights: "Master Sgt. Hart continually ensures EOD Airmen are operationally sound and combat ready for every aspect of the EOD mission from providing EOD support to local, state, and federal agencies to defusing IEDs on the battlefield. He led EOD Flight to 2011 Team of the Year honors for the 95th Air Base Wing. He safed unexploded ordnances found in Los Angeles and California City, and augmented Secret Service details in the protection of the President of the United States." - Senior Master Sgt.
