Team Edwards recognized for outstanding CFC contributions Published April 10, 2012 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Team Edwards keyworkers were all presented with a Letter of Appreciation April 3 at the Conference Center from Col. Gregory Schwab, 95th Air Base Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Bill Thomaston, 95th ABW command chief, for volunteering in the 2011 Combined Federal Campaign at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. During the CFC recognition ceremony, Team Edwards was presented with the Golden Wings Award for the $76,000 increase in donations over the previous year; the Bronze Potential Award for achieving 55 percent of the giving potential;and the prestigious Diamond Award for raising the most money in the Greater Los Angeles area. Team Edwards raised over $489,000 and earned the second highest percentage in Air Force Materiel Command.
