Congratulations to our newly crowned Edwards Air Force Base Community Queens. Front row from left to right, Priscilla Werre (our first ever Tiny Miss), Cecilia Werre (Little Miss), Marcella Werre (Junior Miss), and (back) Alexis Baiza (Miss).

The pageant was held March 31 at the Oasis Community Center. This year's theme was "Welcome Home" in honor of all our returning protectors, as well as those that have served our country at any time.

For their amazing support, the Edwards Pageant Committee would like to thank our judges: Eileen Bjorkman, Col. Michael Platt, Air Force Research Laboratory Detachment 7 commander, Maj. Rosalind Ross-Perry, 2nd Lt. Erin Nelson and Kristin Phillips, Master Sgt. John McGee, Col. Gregory Schwab, 95th Air Base Wing commander, Col. Amy Arwood, 95th ABW vice commander and special guest, Staff Sgt. Thomas Roach.

The Edwards Pageant Committee is a private organization and is not a part of the Department of Defense or any of its components. The queens represent the Edwards community throughout the Antelope Valley at various parades, chamber of commerce events, luncheons and special functions.
