Name: Andrew Rosales

Rank: Tech. Sgt.

Duty Title: Maintenance Training instructor, 412th Maintenance Group

Hometown: Weatherford, Texas

When did you join the Air Force? July 16, 1997

Why did you join the Air Force?  I hail from a long line of military members. When it came time for me to choose a branch of service, the Air Force was the best fit. The Air Force's mission and emphasis on self- development fit perfectly with my longterm goals. Since joining, I have fully enjoyed the camaraderie and sense of family that is inherently the Air Force's culture.

What do you like most about your job?  The thing I enjoy most about being a Maintenance Instructor is the role I play in the technical development of our maintenance force and the diverse group of people I get the opportunity to interact with daily.

What is your favorite thing to do around the area?  Snowboarding and hanging out with my friends are my favorite things to do in the winter. However, the summer is coming soon and I'm looking forward to learning to surf.

Warrior Highlights: "Sergeant Rosales truly epitomizes the Air Force's whole person concept. As the Training Division's lead instructor, he has developed and implemented four comprehensive training programs designed to hone the technical acumen of approximately 1,260 civilian and 590 military personnel. His superb duty performance directly contributed to his selection as the division's NCO of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2012. In addition to developing vital courseware, he continuously seeks opportunities to improve himself. Having already completed his Community College of the Air Force degree, he recently enrolled in and completed the SNCOA's five-module Course 14 from start-to-finish in only 44 days. Fully engaged in the military community, he is a member of Edwards AFB's 5/6 organization and is 412th MXG's sports representative. It is my distinct honor to serve with this military professional."
