To the Men and Women of Team Edwards,

This week marks the last push for the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign. Team Edwards has currently raised over $220,000 for charities, pledging financial support for causes across the globe, and right here at home.

As we enter the last week of this campaign, I ask you to take a minute and reflect on the amazing impact of the CFC.

Just last week, Hurricane Sandy left a path of destruction along the East Coast; more than 70 dead and estimates of between $20- and $50-billion in damages.

Charities like the American Red Cross, America's Relief Team, and Kids in Distressed Situations are able to be there helping our Wingmen and families affected by the storm because of donations they receive through programs like CFC.

Each of these charities receives millions of dollars through the contributions that you make during the annual Combined Federal Campaign drive. The CFC is a perfect way to answer "what can I do" that we all feel as we see images of the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Without your financial contributions, the thousands of charities answering challenges at home and abroad would not be able to do so.

If you have already contributed to CFC, I thank you for pledging your financial resources to make a positive impact in the lives of many. If you have not yet participated, I ask you to please consider what your donation could mean to someone in need.
