World War II POW and former Olympian Louis Zamperini will visit Edwards Dec. 10. Zamperini is the subject of the #1 New York Times Best Seller book "Unbroken." Supervisors will hand out tickets to people in their unit to attend his presentation at the Base Theater. If you would like to submit a question to be considered for the Q & A session, please send it to newsroom@edwards.af.mil by Friday, noon, Dec. 7.

Attendees are expected to show up at least 30 minutes prior and be seated 15 minutes beforehand. Those who don't receive tickets will be able to view the event live in their unit conference room. Talk to your Wingman Day POC for more information.

Everyone is invited to come welcome Mr. Zamperini around 10 a.m. when he arrives at the Red Carpet on the flightline side of Base Operations, Bldg. 1202. A free zone in that area will allow Team Edwards to offer him a warm welcome.

To access the free zone, walk through the gate on the east side of Bldg. 1202. Pictures are not allowed on the flightline at any time. Remember the flightline is an operational area and everyone is advised to make sure nothing that is with you can fall off or be blown off causing FOD. This includes hats.
