The Air Force has a tradition of taking care of its people and takes pride in the improvements made for Airmen and their families. In 2009, the Air Force developed the concept of Caring for People that quickly evolved into the preferred means of Air Force leaders to receive community feedback for review, action and resolution.

The Edwards Air Force Base Integrated Delivery System (a committee of helping agencies on the base) is holding this year's Caring for People Forum April 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chapel 2. Active duty personnel, DOD civilians, contractors and spouses participate in eight support groups. In these groups community issues are discussed and the most important issues are brought to the attention of senior leadership.

The eight groups that are offered at the Forum to be a part of are: Family Support, Family Housing, Spouse Communication, School Support, Health & Wellness, Single Airmen Support, Special Needs Family Member Support and Deployment Support.

If you are interested in being a part of this Forum please contact Katelin Sprague at (661) 277-4988 to complete a registration form.
