Then you might be just the person to attend the Caring for People Forum, a means for leaders to receive community feedback for review, action and resolution in a timely manner. This forum will allow Airmen, family members, retirees, and DOD civilians to voice their concerns and forward suggestions on Air Force policy and/or support service to senior leaders. The forum will take place April 12 at Chapel 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All participants MUST register no later than April 1 and have their supervisor's approval. We need ALL ranks, non-supervisory civilians as well as civilian supervisors. Participants will be able to select their top three choices from eight support groups: Family Support, School Support, Deployment Support, Housing Support, Health and Wellness, Single Airmen Support and Special Needs Family. To register please contact Katelin Sprague at (661) 277-4988 (Katelin.sprague@edwards.af.mil) or Kim Shirley at (661) 277-7272 (kimberly.shirley@edwards.af.mil). Note for DOD Civilians: Civilians who attend are not to be charged leave. If they are otherwise in a duty status, they will remain so during this event. Employees must obtain supervisory approval to attend; approval will be based on mission needs.
